MED is a World Music festival that has established itself as a European reference, with a distinctive concept and a strong identity that has allowed it to achieve high levels of international notoriety. Every year, at the end of June, the Historic Zone of Loulé is invaded by sounds from various parts of the world, as well as by colours, flavours and smells that reflect the cultural diversity that is the hallmark of the event. In addition to a musical line-up that brings to Portugal the best names in the so-called world music industry, this festival also features a fusion of cultural events ranging from gastronomy to visual arts, street entertainment, crafts, dance, theatre, cinema, poetry, workshops and much more, with the clear aim of promoting interculturality and promoting unity between peoples and tolerance.

The Algarve Casinos Rally is one of the rounds of the 2025 Portuguese Rally Championship, taking place on 27 and 29 March this year, in several municipalities in the Algarve. It is one of the most important competitions in the region, attracting competitors and motorsport enthusiasts. The 51st edition of the Volta ao Algarve, to be held between 19 and 23 February 2025, will have a new route. It all starts in Portimão, where the race will start on the 19th. From the riverside area of Portimão, the cyclists will head to Lagos, where an exciting sprint finish on Avenida dos Descobrimentos is expected, closing the first 190 kilometres of the race. On Valentine's weekend, the fifteen curves of the 'Rollercoaster' will certainly captivate the drivers and teams taking part in the 6 Hours Gulf Racing. Another long-distance race with a starting grid where everyone will fight intensely to win the 'love of the podium' and victory.

February brings racing and excitement to the Algarve International Circuit once again, and this time there will be two weekends marked by intense competition on the track near Portimão. The month will kick off on two wheels and with riders from the Moto 3 and Moto 2 world championships. Between the 10th and 13th of February, riders from both classes will carry out private tests in the Algarve. On the first two days, the Moto 3 riders will be on the track, and on the following days the track will be reserved for the Moto 2 teams in what will be the 'sweetener' for the Portuguese GP to be held in November.
